The Windsor House Bed and Breakfast welcomes guests via a fully covered porch shaded by surrounding crape myrtles, magnolias, bradford pears and numerous pecan and dogwood trees. Guests entering by the front door are immediately impressed with the grand entry hall. One’s attention is quickly riveted on the 1880's pump organ or the exquisite marble bust of the Gibson Girl, who epitomizes the perfect American beauty of the period.
The common rooms of the B & B are attractively decorated with period antiques and decor, setting an ambiance of peace and quiet. The Windsor House contains four comfortable bedrooms furnished with period pieces, each with private bath and heating/cooling controls.
Roseland Plantation is the perfect setting for a relaxing weekday or weekend getaway. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, the Plantation’s nature trails in the adjoining woods, or go shopping on Canton Trade Days, also known as Canton First Monday. Quaint shops in nearby Edom and Ben Wheeler provide opportunities for delightful art and antique browsing.
Special weekday rates and availability of wireless internet in the B&B make this an ideal setting for business lodging as well. The full country breakfast is served in a lovely appointed dining room adjoining the sunlit parlor that has a fireplace. Refreshments of coffee, ice, soda and bottled water can be found in the butler’s pantry round the clock at the end of the main hall.
